Alfa put its entire stake in petrochemical maker Alpek into a new holding company, Controladora Alpek, through a partial spin-off (escisión) and gave shareholders one Controladora Alpek share per Alfa share, leaving Alfa as the Sigma food business; the holding company trades on the BMV as CTALPEK.
